On Saturday, June 20, 2020, on the occasion of the 40th anniversary of the resistance of the Iranian people against the religious fascism that rules Iran, an online conference was held that connected about 2,000 locations around the world.
Mrs. Pampuri, a member of parliament from the Democratic Party of Albania, sent a message of solidarity to the conference. In her message, Mrs. Pampuri said:
I am very happy to have the opportunity to speak to you once again at this gathering, but today I want to address the people of Iran and tell them that we know how much you are suffering under the rule of this regime. We know you have no freedom. We know that you do not believe in the fake elections in Iran. We know that while the leaders of this corrupt regime have built an incredible aristocratic life for themselves, the majority of you are below the poverty line. We have heard that in some provinces you do not even have drinking water. We know that your women are doubly oppressed. We know that instead of studying, playing, and living a prosperous life in a country that is rich in oil, your children are living in poverty and working on the streets. We know that you took to the streets in November 2019 to oppose the tripling of the price of gasoline, and this criminal regime killed 1,500 of you in just a few days. We know that so far more than 50,000 people have lost their life because of the coronavirus but the regime is trying to hide it. We know that in the situation of outbreak of coronavirus where people in all countries are quarantined, your children have to look for food in the garbage. We've heard you shout every day with a sore heart that you don't want this regime, but those who want to continue their business with this regime pretend that they do not hear anything and are deaf. But you should know that we are with you in Albania. We support Mojahedin and their goals to stablish freedom and democracy in Iran. We see that the Mojahedin have devoted their life for your freedom, and with such leaders we are sure that freedom and democracy will return to your country soon. The day that Iran is liberated and Maryam Rajavi is in Iran, we will all be happy because your pain today is our pain and your victory will be our victory.
